Medan does not work for me Indonesia

I can say Medan, Indonesia is not good for the money.
price to wallet quality is way to high.
Taxi are overpriced and they do not have meters, so you do not know the prices if you arrive first time. Also taxi are in bad condition, not like in Malaysia where you have blue executive taxi and red budget one. yeah red one is cheaper in Malaysia and also can be cheaper, especially if you catch it on road and you are charged by a, meter.
other thing is that you have to pay for entering country EU countries and outside Asia. when you leave by airport ( how else you would get off island ) you need to pay tax. It is never the case in Malaysia or Singapore. Also hotel you can find better quality in Malaysia. Here I would recommend only for adventurous type who like to climb, hike in jungle and do raffling. if you want to relax you can have better conditions in Malaysia dir the same price. That is the truth. the only reason to go here for Malay and Singapore is cheap alcohol where they can bring to home custom free. But they do not pay for visa. So for them it is good business.
To end with positive what amazed me is I found protestant churches here and they all are in original language Indonesian, Bakat or other, Javanovean?
